About Us

Baking has always been a source of comfort for me. In this age of isolation and distance, I wanted to find a creative way to connect with and spread comfort to the community I grew up in. After attending pastry school at the Institute of Culinary Education, interning at Gotham Bar & Grill, working as a bread baker at Union Square Cafe, and working as part of the start up team at Caffe Panna, I started Star Mountain Bakery to share what brings me joy: wholesome handmade babka and challah.

My goal is to give everyone in Westchester access to fresh, unique babkas with a twist, created with safety in mind. I make these delicious treats adhering to social distancing practices and provide complimentary contactless delivery straight to your door.

Choose from a range of family favorites, like classic chocolate and cinnamon sugar, or from a selection of seasonal sweet and savory flavors. Place an order for yourself, as a special treat for your friends and family, or to celebrate an event!

Order by Thursday to get your handmade babka and challah delivered fresh on Friday.

Enjoy!
